Edge Boxes???

Was going to purchase a used edge box from a 99 for my 02 understanding that I would need different adapters for the wiring. I thought Edge would make these?? I called Edge and they told me I have to buy a whole box and there wasnt an available adapter. Is this right?

That's right the adapter is from an 01 box to an 02.

Gonzo, Yes there is an adaptor available that changes the 01 map sender to the 02 configuration

Is there an adapter to use an '02 box on a '99? Brett @ Edge said no, plus the boxes are programmed differently as well & will throw continuous codes... . What gives & where are the adapters sold? Not @ Edge.

No, the 98. 5-2000 trucks had a reference MAP voltage of 1vdc... the 01-02 trucks had a reference voltage of ~0v, so they do not interchange.
