I live in the laurel mountains of Pennsylvania. I'm using a 30301H Edge comp module. Since our temps have gone below 32 degrees when I start my truck up the chip doesn't function. No matter how long I drive it I have to shut it off after it warms up and the chip works. I can't just shut it off and restart it, that doesn't work. My dealer where I bought it and had it installed hasn't responded yet. So I'm looking to see if anyone else has experienced this problem? This is my first winter with this addition. Any thoughts or help would be highly appricated... (Steelers and six)Oo.

Thanks, Roy

Many electronic units can be damaged or do not work properly in low temp weather - - I have a Smarty and Bob told me up front not to keep it in the truck when it is cold the smarty will set the parameters and they will hold regardless of the temp - - it probably would have been nice if Edge had done the same - - but thats typical of Edge products.

just spent from OCT to Feb in Somerset County Pa. have an Edge Juice with Att. and have no problems with it... ... ... . been in Co. winters @ -25 no problem... ... ..... call Edge they are good guys

cd day and nunya, thanks for the response. I have aclled edge and they want me to return the chip to see what the problem is. They said that this is not normal and needs to be addressed..... thanks, I will post results when I know . Roy
