I just purchased an Edge Juice W/Attitude chip and was wondering, If i adjust the waste gate will it throw a code, or will i have to purchase a boost fooler?

what year of truck? 05' an newer you cant adjust the stock waste gate its electric. but more fuel will build more boost i think the stock turbo will build around 35lbs. the only reson you would need a boost fooler is if you have a aftermerket turbo that has a mechanical waste gate then u can adjust the boost but dont go over 50lbs the head gasket will go unless u have astud kit

ithink u might throw a code. the tst does or did. call edge they should be able to tell u. the old tsts came with it i think"boost fooler". i dont know if they do any more. the code is p0238 boost pressure sensor high.

I just looked at Quadzilla's and they say dont use it with a chip, programmers only, so how do i get around throwing codes? And just how much can i adjust the waste gate before i go to much?

The juice does boost fooling. I don't think higher psi from the stock turbo will help any. More pressure is more heat, more heat will raise EGT's. The stock turbo is NOT going to give more volume past 30psi, just more pressure from the heat. I hit 45psi all the time with no code.

The Juice does do boost fooling but with a mechanical wastegate you need a boost elbow to actually get higher boost pressures.
