edge comp box in ash tray, to hide anyone try this?

I am looking to put my BD race bok/edge comp in the ash tray to keep it out of sight when its not in use. Has anyone tried this modification? or any other ideas?

ICOLEMAN... i did it, just take you time. unless u want to destroy you ashtray. i found the dremel tool works the best. but now that i got it all tucked in there, i have to remove it and send it back. its doing the everyother light thing and locking up. i thought about having it upgraded to a drag box while it was there, but 125. 00 isnt in the budget right now

It fits in the ashtray nicely and the best part is that the "lil woman" won't ask what it is.

Does anyone have a template that they would share? I tried once already and ruined a ashtray. (I tried to center it in teh tray by cutting both sides... . bad move) I msgd "mpjmpj" on a previous post about this application but have yet to hear back.

Installed!!!!!! a dremmel with a metal cutting disk works wonders on the plastic!!! wow it is great!!!!! I should have done this the first time! Stealth... . isnt it wonderful!
