Has anyone else had problems with there Edge Comp Box's crapping out after only a few months or less of use? My first box lasted about a month and my second box lasted about 3-4 months. I'm getting ready for box number three in less than eight months. At this rate Edge is going to make me a TST customer in the near future. It's impossible to get anyone on the phone at Edge half the time. I've never had a single message or e-mail returned. If you get put on hold when you call hang up because you can wait days on hold and nobody will ever answer.

The tap on the VP44 from the Comp has stopped functioning twice now. I had an EZ before that lasted three years and it went on the fritz as well. Steve at the performance shop I deal with told me he had to send his box back multiple times as well.

2 years with mine no problems other than the well documented miss when pulling heavy. My experience with phone calls and emails going unreturned are the same - poor customer service.

You are just getting started. There is a lot bigger list of problems that there only fix for is to send you another unit that will most likely have the same problems. They do not turn on when cold then there is the thing where only a few led light will work and then the issue where the sub levels affect the corresponding sub levels.

I thought I had a problem with my box the day after it was installed because it wouldn't turn on early the next morning when it was cold. My shop told me that it will not turn on if the engine temperature is too low. I've had it refuse to turn on multiple times when it was cold. As soon the engine warmed up it worked fine but you had to turn off the truck and restart it to get the Comp to reset it's self.

Its got nothing to do with the engine temp. It is a problem with the comp itself not being able to turn on when it its cold. Anything below around 40 degrees and mine acts up until the cab temp warms it up or I cycle the key a couple of times.
