I just purchased an Edge Comp Box- It looks like I have to mess with the fuel injection wiring. Would the Quadzilla have been better for me as I dont want to cut wires? Help?

the edge comp taps into the pump wire. It should have come with a wire tap. You don't actually have to cut any wires, the tap just pierces it. The best way to do it though would be to get a "stealth" cover for your pump that will pierce the same wire inside the pump, or better yet would be to cut the pump wire and solder it fast and then put heat shrink over it. Either way you go, its nothing real hard to do.

All the hire horsepower boxes require you to do this, no matter who makes it. You can go with a Edge EZ or Quadzilla XZT+ for example, and they are just "plug and play" type boxes, but then you will only get about 65-70hp out of them. Ofcourse, theres also the Smarty programmer, but some guys seem to like the XZT+ better driveability wise.

I had a TST then a comp now the Quad Adrenaline and all three have a "tap" wire on the VP44. I have had bad luck with contact on the stealth covers and the connection @ the pump needs to be solid so follow AFoulks advice and solder/shrink a wire to the pump and then "tap" that one so you can still disconnect if need be.

Thank you guys so much. You have helped. Now I need to think of the right kind of injectors since the comp box (which I will keep now!) has part throttle fueling. Any suggestions? I am thinking about these stage two advertised on ebay under the 24v listing.
