Edge Comp bracket

I thought you guys might be interested in it(see pics below). This thing rocks, it bolts onto the knee bolster using the existing phillips screws. Makes for a very sturdy and super clean install.



You can get one from Andy or Doug at www.smokindiesel.com They throw it in if you buy the Comp from them, don't know how much alone, call'em.

I agree with ya. I got this also when I ordered the comp from ADT. I personally don't like things stuck to the interior. This is a very nice and clean look.

I have seen this bracket in person... nothing but quality workmanship... if you have a PE Comp you should have one of these... .

Question for you guys running the Comp. When your driving around and maybe just a little on the heavy foot side, how hot does the box get?? I only ask because I am getting ready to upgrade from an EZ and I wound up putting heat sinks on it to keep it cool. I discovered they get real hot when you are working them... Thanks for reading this.

Thank you for asking... . I'm not really sure of where and how... as you know... mine is on the dash as well. There may be no alternative because of the need to see the display panel of the FMS... If a bracket could be made... I would assume that it would have to bolt to the A-Pillar or the dash somehow... what do you think?

I received my Comp bracket from Smokin Diesel yesterday... and like any good BOMBer I just couldn't leave well enough alone. Anyway, I detailed the bracket, you know, the usual, deburred all edges, sanded same and "optimized" every facet of the bracket. And what the heck, I took it in to have it powder coated 20% gloss black (i. e. , almost flat black)... just like my modified Mike Brolin CB mount.

So John, how did the BOMBed bracket turn out? I'm just curious,,,,,,,I think your running out of BOMBs for your truck... ... ... ... .
