Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Edge Comp Info??

I know the gains in HP and Torque when the pump wire is taped, but what about the gains when the pump wire isn't taped? I've read it acts just like the EZ box but on what setting?

I have my pump wire off of my comp right now. I have noticed that it may bring the fuel in quicker on higher levels. When u bring it up on the highway you can feel the truck jump a little. It may be just me but it seems to smoke more and run better the more I turn it up.

I've noticed the same jump when going through the levels with the pump wire removed. I would like to know if there is any performance gains throught each level without the pump wire conected.
