Edge Comp Install?????

OK, I bought this edge comp and was wondering exactly how to install it like an EZ until I get my pump cover in the mail.



It's a used Comp so I got a pretty generic set of instructions, but still have some questions. There are 3 plugs on there and I don't know which one goes where. I can figure the ground and the power lead and stuff like that but the rest are the problem. It was for a 2001 and I have the pigtail from Edge to make it run on the 2002.

Which is which? I have one big connection and 2 small ones?

The largest connector attaches to the diagnostic connector (should be near the ECM on the left side of the engine under the fuel filter). The connector should have a plug in it from the factory - it doesn't plug into anything on the vehicle. The other two go inline to the boost sensor - remove the connector from the sensor and plug each one into the appropriate connector on the harness. It's also on the left side of the engine near the rear of the intake manifold. Shouldn't be able to plug it into anything else. Good luck.

there is one map lead, one data link lead, one black - ground - one red power - thats all





are you sure you have an 02 comp?

It is actually a 2001 but I have the pigtail from Edge to adapt it to the 2002. I read the instructions on the EDGE website but there was no actual pictures of the connection they supplied. Thats why I'm asking the questions now, before I get out there and do something stupid to harm the truck or the COMP.

if the two gray connector are still attached togrther via the 2 black connectors seperate the two and it may make more sense

Yes sir......

Those are the ones that Edge sent me. They called them the pigtail to adapt it to my truck.
