What turbo for Pacbrake??

Clutch Install in Louisiana?

Installed a Edge Comp from a reliable source in my 01. Everything was going well, no major issues, followed the directions to a T. Installed Boost and EGT gauges at the same time. Buttoned everything back up and it won't start! Engine turns over, but will not start. No problems or issues before. Edge Box lights up, but the engine light on the dash comes on. Checked the MAP plugs, all ok there. One thought is I amy have tapped the wrong Injection Pump Wire, the pump was a rebuilt unit, and I was wondering if maybe they switched the location of the two top wires when rebuilding?!!? I tapped the one closest to the block as per the instructions.

I am at a total loss here! Any help would be great! Need to get going before Monday

You may have gotten a bad comp. Call Edge about it ASAP. I bought mine 1 year ago and had similar problems. But hurry, last year they closed up for 2 weeks due to the holidays and I had to wait. Once they reopened they sent me another one right away. Hope this puts you in the right direction,

Check and re-check the plug connection on the injection pump, make sure the tabs are pushed in. Also check fuses, you did disconnect the batteries like the directions say right? If you tapped the wrong wire it sould still run you just won't get the upper levels of power. Check the lift pump power wire, sometimes that gets knocked loose.

Had this same thing happen a month ago on a customer's truck with his supplied Comp box. Connected the pump wire up, and it would crank and crank with no start. Disconnected the pump wire, and it started hard, and would cut out once you gave it a bit of throttle. Ended up the Comp box took out the brand new VP44 we had installed the previous day! Let's hope this did not happen to yours... Best of luck!

To all who replied... Thank YOU!!!

I retraced my steps, and looked at the injection problem closely, and to my surprise I forgot to reconnect the main wiring harness to the injection pump. I felt like an idiot! In the famous words of Forrest Gump "Stupid is as Stupid does"!

Took it for a spin, WOW, this thing is a whole new beast! The Edge Comp Box is really nice, love the flexibility.

The check engine light is still on, but I am guessing that is becasue I may have plugged and unplugged a few things while troubleshooting it, possibly with the key on. (I am still open for suggestions on that) Do I need to have the dealer reset the light??

Thanx again to all!
