Redline 15W-40: interesting results

Have you blown up a South Bend yet?

No other box compares with the Blue Chip FMS box,it does it all.

With the FMS box a set of upgrade injectors and a Blue chip timing box the next thing you will looking for is a tougher clutch.

A big plus is Chip is a realiable fellow to work with,No BS just facts. You can believe what he tells you.

I had this set up on my previous truck and it worked great. Chip has not come up with an FMS box for my new truck, but i'm waiting. My opinion is BUY THE FMS!

Lots of opinion so far, but Jim is the only one with a Dyno Graph to back it up.

Here is my question.

at Peak Fueling, what is the duty cycle on the fuel bypass solenoid for the DD Drag Comp, Blue Chip FMS, and PE COMP? Please indicate the RPM that peak fueling takes place and what Level the box is set on.

This should settle the debate!

i forgot about the best feature that the edge comp has vs the other boxes. when you add bigger injectors the comp will fuel less than stock to help control smoke for everyday driving.

i think chip has come up with his own timing box.

the clutch statment is all that great. i have known many trucks with just the comp needing a clutch.

ok guys here is what it comed down to $.

i just looked on chips site. the fms plus the timing box will run you $1745 retail the edge comp and bd's x monitor which has fuel pressure, egt's, and boost will run you $1250 retail that includes the pump cover. infact the x-monitor looks like the same display as the fms box only it mounts on the pillar. so it's up to you it's really just a $ thing. the comp doesn't have the egt defueling built into it. but after you drive your truck for awhile you just put it in the level that it can cool while towing.

I have a question regarding different boxes. If I'm running brand (A) box and my max boost is 38 PSI and I switch to brand (B) box and get 45 PSI what does this tell me? Am I getting more power or just more boost or both?
