I am definitly going to upgrade my injectors this fall. Going to the Mach 4's and a new turbo. I found out the Banks comp doesn't play well with the new stuff. With this I am going to where I should have gone in the first place. I would like to replace the Ottomind with an Edge product. My VP44 has been tapped about 25k miles ago with the Ottomind. Would you guys play it safe go with the EZ or would you throw caution in the wind and go with the comp since the wire is already tapped? Next question is, say the VP44 craps out, can the Comp be run as an EZ if I had to replace the injection pump?

I would get the comp for the in cab control of the box alone, even if you don't have the wire tapped. With Mach 4's you may appreciate the on/off.

I've run both at different times. Started with an EZ, now have a Comp. Save yourself some money in the long run and go with the Comp, just run it like an EZ. Added feature of the Comp, as Jim said above is you can adjust it from "inside" the cab.

Take care,

Casey

Either that or get the comp and dont tap the wire thus you have an EZ. When you want more (and you will... . because you CAN) tap the wire and just somebody try an wipe that big $$$ grin off your face. :-laf

I had the same question a while back and bought the comp. I didn't tap the wire yet and it acts like an EZ. The five levels only determine when fuelling starts but doesn't go above an EZ level. I bought mine on ebay for a lot less than I had found anywhere else, that is why I went with the comp. The increase is very noticable and I can't wait to get my trans done so I can safely tap my pump wire.
