I was wondering if I should call edge and send my comp back to them. I was going home from work this morning and had the setting on 1x1, 2x2, 3x3, 4x1, 5x5. I had been playing with it the evening before and normally had the 4th setting on 4x4 but wanting to control smoke a little more around town, I set it on 4x1. Anyway this morning I bumped the box up to 5x5 and got almost no smoke and low end respose, it was like it was in the 1st sub setting. I left 5x5 where it was and went to the 4th main setting and put it back on 4x4 and then went to 5x5 again and all was normal again. 3x3 still fueled the same no matter what the 4th main setting was in the sub level.

Any ideas on this or it the box just messing up? And what do any of ya'll think about the TST grabbers for the pump wire tap?

I'd recheck all the connections before assuming a fault with the Comp box itself - be especially careful to install a good ground - preferably directly back to the negative terminal of the battery...

Gary, that was my first problem with the box and was grounding to the boost elbow bolt. I went to the battery with the ground next and no problems.

All my setting work and the box seems to fuel good but when I changed the sub setting to 1 on power level 4, it seemed to change the sub level for power level 5 even though the sub level for 5 was set on five. I don't want to send the box back to edge but want the box to be right to, I guess I'll call edge next week and see what they have to say.

I have a early 2001 and my comp box does the same thing! I have tried 3 boxes and they all do the same thing. I have called Edge and talked to them about the problem they asked me to send the box back so they could test it. They reported back that they could not duplicate problem  So I just live with it:( Btw, I have the pump cover and I have my box properly grounded. I think it has something to do with the early 2001's. Mine has a production date of Feb. 2000. and is a 2001

Turbosforlife, Mines a later model 01. I think build date was Feb or Mar. of 01. but sounds like we have the same problem though. I got rid of my grounding problems when I went to the battery. I'll call edge this week and see what they have to say.

Its prolly going to be hard to explain to them what yours is doing. I had to explain 4 times before they understood. Please when you call them let them know that the guy in North Carolina called them with same problem and maybe we can together figure this out! If you find out what is wrong PLEASE let me know! Thanks
