Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) edge comp shudders in levels 1-4

I have an edge comp the drag version on my 98 24valve, It has recently started to shudder or miss really bad when I have it set on any level except 5 or if I turn it off it runs smooth. It only shudders when I step on it. It seems normal at first then when the boost starts to build it shudders or misses pretty bad. The truck has twins and mach 7 injectors if that matters. I also have a edge comp box that was on an 01 S. O. , I know the wire harness is different on the engine side but is it the same at the box? And could I use a box for an 01 on my 98 if I use my wire harness? thanx in advance for any help... ... Lowell

My comp did that when it went bad. But it had the shudder on all levels, I could turn it off then back on and it would be fine (at first) then after about a month it would shudder 24/7. I sent mine back and Edge replaced it.



It would throw the check engine light every time it did it. Code was -Map sensor low voltage.
