Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Edge Comp... slight delay in power.

I am trying to get use to all this extra power I now have... but I have a couple questions. I just installed the box the other day, but did not tap the injection pump wire just yet, as I still have 4500 miles left on my warranty. Is it normal after putting in this box to have a slight delay in acceleration? I put the pedal down, it kinda lags for a sec, then shoots off like a cannon. Doesnt do it with the Edge off, so I am guessing this is normal, or its bacuse I havent tapped the wire yet... . any thought?

Check your low boost fueling levels on the comp. If I remember correctly, without the wire tapped you will see a difference in level 1 when switching thru the 1-3 sublevels.
