Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) edge comp wont smoke tires

sure the truck is fast --but i figured i would be able to boil the tires stomping it on 5x5-i can suck fp down to 5psi --is this typicl or am i dreaming-01. 5 --265 tires 4. 10 gears--any input would be appreciated -

I have a QC dually 4x4 and i can smoke my tires with my comp box on 5x5

On my truck with just the comp I would have to power brake to smoke my tires. The torque management on the 00 and newer trucks defuels the engine in 1st and 2nd gear. Nothing a BD RAD box won't take care of though!!

No worries, after numerous power brakes your tires will be worn down enough to smoke them off the line :-laf

exactly,i just put down 100ft of posi--first time i tried -i think you could burn the whole set off if you wanted-gotta love it
