OK I have decided I want an edge comp. Edge says they will tak my EZ plus 400. 00. What I want to know is, I am still on the stock clutch what should I expect to happen? and how can I make the stock one hold in there a little while?

I know everyone is thinking might as well order southbend now but I like to take things one step at a time.

I'd try selling the EZ in the classifieds or on ebay for $350-400. Then it should only be about $300. Just a thought. :)

If your not going to get a southbend at this time, my I suggest doing the "Granny" driving untill you get closer to ordering it. The stock manuels hold the power better then thestock autos, but after time, even they will fry. It just will take a lot longer then an auto to fry. :)

You should be okay with the 5 speed clutch (early 6 speed) if you don't connect the little wire. Once connected, you'll be one your way to slipping the clutch if you ever go to 5x5. I'd start saving up for a new clutch.
