I shut my truck off today at a gas station [Edge was turned off] come back outside, start the truck & turn the comp on before entering the freeway. For some odd reason it was set at level 1x3... . which I never use. Come to find out that all sublevels are on 3. I adjust every level sublevels to 5 & go down the road. It is not running like it should... kinda weak, but truck has no miss or other problems of any sort. I shut my truck off at the next stop... . same thing happens again... . all sublevels are on 3 & main level 1. This happens everytime I shut the truck off. I have no codes! What is going on here? Anyone have a idea? Ever happen to you?

ive had something similar to that happen before. ended up having to send it edge to get it checked out. but as usual with the edge guys, they never told me what actually happened to mine. good luck with it man!

Did you problem get fixed by EDGE?

Chances are the person you spoke with at EDGE didn't do the work and honsetly didn't know what was done. Just a thought.

This is a intermittent problem..... today I put 200 miles on the truck & about 20 duty cycles. The problem only occured sometimes & would run funny... . then it just took off. I was pulling a trailer down route 79 coming into PA on the way home from WV & turned the comp on. I was sneak attacked by a 6. 0 Powerjoke who pulled up next to me & reved the engine... . then took off... . I look down & comp is on kill... . must be working! I see a open highway & the Furd thought he had me beat. The drag comp is now working great. He had a 2 length headstart before I even turned the box on. The Comp just decided that it felt like working & I passed him with ease... . he gave me a thumbs up with a sad look on his face. I couldn't believe I beat him with a 3000# 24' trailer hooked to my truck... . not counting 2 skidsteer attachments & 50 gallons of fuel in the bed. WOW! Atleast the comp didn't let me down when I needed it most. I don't usually do this racing with a trailer on thing, but just couldn't resist the open highway & the look on the Furd drivers face when he pulled up.

First, thing to check,is Battery and Charging system.

A good battery will clean up noise from the alternator, a poor battery will let noise from the alternator interfere with the Edge. An alternator with bad diodes could send enough noise into your electrical system that every digital module including the Edge could get interfered with. You also need to check all your connections grounds and power.

Thanks... .come to think of it my battery ground cable was loose a few weeks back. I tightened it, but could never figure out how it got loose in the first place. Maybe it vibrated loose again? I will check everything out in the morning before work, but I have no noises, electrical problems otherwise. Thanks for the suggestion.

Well checked everything out & no results after cleaning all connections & tightening. I called Edge & they are gonna send me a new Drag Comp & wiring harness. Edge customer service rocks!
