:) Thanks for your response to my questions about towing mirrors in the acces. forum. Next question:confused: Do I have to or need to install my gauges before e-z install. My work load keeps me busy 6 days a week, trying to squeeze my play time in is hard. :{ So many things to do to this truck and so little time. TIA.

Jesus guys, it's an EZ, not a comp.

Should he get gauges first? Yeah we all should, but most of us don't.

Is he gonna' destroy his truck driving with an EZ and no gauges? Only if he starts doing mile long drag races right off the bat and shuts the truck off as soon as he crosses the finish line.

TJMIV - EZ and no gauges will be OK, so long as you follow the recommended shut down procedure (let the truck idle a while depending on driving conditions), and at least get a fuel pressure tester to keep an eye on your fuel pressure every other fill up.

If you already have all the gauges, make sure you have all the little bits and parts you need so you don't have to stop what you are doing and make trips to the hardware store. Then plan a 3 hour section of a day and go at it. Maybe find another TDR member in your area that has done gauges before and see if you two can get together and slap them in.

Fill out your signature (user control panel) so we can see what kind of truck you have.

Your right, it is an EZ. I am glad we agree on that. It is a matter of opinion wether you need them or not with an EZ. I only suggested he do the gauges first. We did not say it was mandatory. For me I did the gauges first and am glad I did.

Thanks for the input on the gauges & ez. I have Isspro gauges, boost egt,&fuel pressure. Looks like I just need to get busy & do the install. Besides it`s starting to get darker earlier in the afternoon and that means I can close the door`s a little earlier than 7:30, and play . Oo.

That's my vote too, wish I'd done them even affore I got the aFe on. Then you can sorta see exactly what difference any changes actually make. I'm even gonna getta water temp guage, that dom OEM thingy ain't wortha hoot.

Cheers,

Steve J.
