I already have the RV275's installed and a edge ez on the way. I was just curious, is the 2 combined gonna be to much for my stock clutch? I'll be upgrading it this spring or summer, but I'm hoping it'll last till then.

it should last, depending on how you drive. My stocker lasted with the smarty and comp together for about 6 months, and i wasn't always nice to it. however, i think it also depends on how the clutch has been treated in the past. i know some guys stock clutch wouldn't hold up to the comp by itself. If you do any heavy pulling i would be sure to turn down the EZ and you should be fine until you upgrade your clutch.

I don't tow or haul at all... other than loading my snowmobile in the bed, but I don't think thats happening anymore this winter:( I was just concerned cause I know this thing used to have a goose kneck ball in the bed (theres a hole in the center of my bed) so I'm sure it was used to tow heavy by whoever had it before me. Its only got 84,000miles on it now, but without pulling the transmission, I don't really know what shape my clutch is in now.

I ran the e-z and 275's for 75,000 miles with no trouble. I only tow about 6000 lbs. , but i was never easy on it. But, when i went to the Juice with attitude, the clutch gave up pretty quick. I pulled my clutch at 154,000 miles and was amazed at how good it looked. It still had all the grooves in the clutch face, it just could not hold the Juice. Randy:cool:

I have seen that combo slip right after the injector install. Don't hammer on it in too high of a gear at low rpms. It WILL slip if you do! Good luck & enjoy.

I ran this set up in my 01 with the 6 speed. I could slip the clutch in the higher gears. You kind of have to use your head instead of your right foot. After a while I did replace the clutch, it had signs of slipping but it wasn't ruined.
