Edge EZ boost Fitting

Just got my EZ last night and put it on. I was going to install the boost fitting and I realized it had a small hole on the flat side where you should put your wrench. Is that hole s'posed to be there? Is there a special way to remove the factory clamp? Can you reuse it?

It's been a while since I installed my EZ, and I don't recall the hole you are concerned with. However, regarding the clamp, I was able to just use a pair of Channel Locks and slide it back on the hose, pull the hose off the old elbow and reclaim the clamp for future use, in case I ever want to return things to stock.

The hole is how the bolt works, it vents air press from the wastegate so it doesn't see the high boost levels. and just cut the clamp and get a replacement from a hydraulics supply house.
