Do you want both?

You are talking about two different animals. The Edge EZ is a non adjustable (for the most part) unit that is installed under the hood, Quick and EZ as the name implies.

The Comp box on the other hand is mounted in the cab and is adjustable for different power levels. The comp makes more power and is more work to install.

If warranty is an issue or you don't plan any other mods than go with the Edge EZ you won't be disappointed. IMO:D

Wiseman,

The Comp which offers something like 120hp at the ground in a box should be installed with an EGT and Boost gauge.

Also you will need to have a Clutch or an upgraded Auto transmission to handle this extra amount of power.

If you buy the Edge EZ (65hp) you can sometimes get by with a stock transmission or stock clutch, but even the EZ will accelerate clutch or converter wear.

Haven't had my Comp intalled long enough - about 4000 miles - to qualify as an "expert" - but NO transmission, clutch OR EGT problems to date towing our 7000 lb. 5er - OR my buds 14000+ 5er up 7% grades... See sig for RWHP power readings with the Comp...

I haven't read much about the Power Edge Pulse on the TDR. As I understand it, the box has levels 1-4. Wouldn't this make a good compromise between the EZ and the Comp?
