This Edge EZ chip is awesome!!!!!!!!!!!

Question: Don't have guages yet, should I put the Boost elbow in now or get the guages, wait until the warranty is over, or leave it out for now????:--)

I hear that the elbow raises temps for some people. . I would go with the gauges first. . at least that's what I need to do:) What level do you have it set on?

Thanks CLAYTON! But why does Edge say that the EZ will operate equally well with or without the elbow? If you are making more boost aren't you making more power? And if it lowers EGT's shouldn't they recommend you install the elbow? It doesn't make sense to me!

To Clayton

EZ Edge is the new one set at 4 supposedly 70 Hp an d220 ft-lbs torque. (sure feels like it)

I feel that if the elbow goes in the ECM will throw a Over boost code. maybe I'll wait till;l the warranty is over. Then put in the elbow. In the mean time I'll get a 0-60 boost guage and a EGT

set up.

This Forum is great guys who have been there are free to put their input so that we all don't/do make the same mistakes or enhancements.

Great Forum thanks for the input. Sometimes more input is better.

Don't use the elbow. Boost with the HY is too hot when over 24 psi or so. Therefore, egt will rise even faster with the elbow installed.

No, more boost is not necessarily more power. Geometry of the turbo and other things. . . I got, with different combinations, 565 hp with 36 psi, and 609 with 43 psi.
