Hello,

To those who have been waiting to be able to use your EZ with your 2002 truck, Edge now has an adapter available for the 2002 model trucks. I contacted them today and they are sending one out. Cost is $5.

Seems they should pay......

Did you tell them it was for a 2002? If so it seems to be on them.

Either way I would pay it just to get the benefit from having an EZ on. You'll love it.

Ray,

This is really interesting since I received the following e-mail from Edge on Tuesday, October 16th:

It will be another month before the adapter is released, sorry. If you need to return it you may take it back the dealer. If you have any problems let me know.

Thanks,

Aaron Stewart

I think I'll go get a cuppa coffee and ponder this awhile!

It's out now so pick up the phone and call Aaron. Mine will be here tomorrow, can't wait to try it out.

Ray,

OK, I called and it's on its way "next day air". Gee, what can I b!tc# about after it arrives? Problems, problems! ;) :D

Edit: Oh, I forgot to add - Okie has my Jardine 4" exhaust system waiting for me, and this Sunday the Houston guys are getting together for a bomb session. This might be a good weekend!! Maybe I'll have to change my signature Monday! :D

Will do Fred

Fred,

When I got the thing originally I spent a hour or so trying to figure out how to get the map sensor connector off and wasn't successful. I'm assuming tomorrow when I get the adapter I'll spend another hour trying to figure it out. Actually, I'm hoping being able to look at the adapter will give me some clues as to how to get the thing off. Regardless, I'm looking forward to my first real power improving BOMB.

Thanks,

Ray,

Me, too! I finally figured it out (I feel like a dummy admitting it!) See the red tab on the "front" (radiator) side of the connector? Push it up and then pull the connector apart. If you want to practice, the connector for the 7-pin plug back on the trailer hitch receiver is the same design.
