well I installed my new EZ on Tues. of last week, and I was very impressed with the difference of power in town on level 3.

This last weekend I took a 350 mile trip and I was enjoying every bit of the new power and I noticed a 3 MPG more.

Then I remembered a post awhile ago about having a 5th and 6th power setting on the older EZ, so I wanted to try and see what would happen if I put it on the 6th power setting with this new EZ. Well this evening coming home from work I had it on #6 and it made a noticeable difference.

I thought they have gone away with the 5th and 6th setting? I have been bugging my diesel mech. for the last few weeks to get me an EZ and he's been having problems getting his hands on them because they are so popular. He had an order of 20 coming in last week and only received two of them so I was a lucky one. So you would think my EZ would be a new box so why does it have the 5th and 6th setting?

what horse power is #6?

thanks in advance

I think there's only 4 settings, with #'s 5 and 6 being pretty much a nothing setting. I'm not sure though, I've just read this in other posts.

See, you've got the bug bad already if you're searching for settings #5, #6, #7, #8... ... . :D

Come on once you are hooked you are always hooked.

Open up your EZ and try these settings. on the right side, left side are extra's

3= :I:

4 = ::I

5 = II:

6 = I::

and tell me what happens. In earlier post it said that if you tried 5 and 6 and it acted like stock then you don't have them you have a newer box.

Don't think I'll try that..... My box was replaced by edge and the new one is dated nov ??, 2003... Besides on this first snow even on 3 where I run it, it is very hard to drive to keep from just sliding everywhere because the tires can't hook up with all the power... . :D
