I read some time back that Edge Products and other's didn't recommend using level 6 ... ... has anyone experienced problems by using level 6?

If so what problems?

and

How many miles "WITHOUT" any problems.

Thanks again.

Rod

I have had a problem with it on level 6 and I am sure that alot of you out there have experienced the same thing. . I stomp on the go pedal and my back wheels seem to break loose which is causing unwanted tire wear :D:D:D

No problems (other then that) for 8000 miles

Same here... . in 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and sometimes 5th! :D

I am at about 10k (with the EZ, 14k total) miles. No problems. I do run it on level 4 when towing heavy to keep the pyro from acting like a second tach.

I have that same problem with the go pedal.

What's with that "spring wear" people are talking about with the EZ on level 6 with to much fuel pressure?

Why don't you call or email edge and find out what the pressures are on level 6 and level 4. I run level 4 because my EGT's WOT, empty, low altitude can get up to 1150-1200 degrees F. I don't feel comfortable going above 1200 especially in the hot AZ summers 110+ degrees.

I probably ran mine 10K on level six with no problems at all (except a black bed side/bumper :D ). But, Keith brought up a good point about the return sysyem being trashed becaused it was being forced to handle more fuel than it was designed to handle. Thats how I took it and it made sense.

I'm back to running stock due to a trip to the dealer for the heater box issue and I kinda like the power curve without the box ... ... ... ... no doubt sounds better. I'm having fun driving this thing at stock levels, lol. The power is down no doubt, but the curve is broader and not as peaky.

Anyway, I'm regrouping for a turbo/injector upgrade besides waiting on the new Edge.

The EZ was a quick fix, but that extra pressure has to be hard on the injector pump and the return system.

36,000 and still smilin, but who knows how many miles level 6 robbed me of ... ... ... ... if any

Hey did you experience any loping at idle when in gear. I'm experiencing that on leve 4.

Also what happened to your air charge heater and did EZ contribute to it. I noticed this morning that my heater grid did not go on at start up. Does the EZ disable this feature?

KKlepfer,

I think the loping at idle has more to do with the cold weather than anything. I've had my EZ off the truck for a couple of weeks and it still lopes when cold.

It has never been any worse than barely detectable.

Mine lopes when its cold or hot outside. And it really plays heck

with my cruise control. The people at easy says the loping is only

on some trucks,but why mine?

Mine will lope a little when it's cold but my cruise control is fine.
