I've already got an Edge EZ on my truck but was thinking about adding some bigger injectors. I've got RV275s waiting to be installed but I really don't think that they will pack the punch that I want.

Would the EZ and 3s be a good running setup?

Could anyone speculate as to what Mach 3s and an EZ would do to my clutch? Anybody running this setup? I don't want to get the injectors in and then be stuck without enough cash to get a new clutch to hold the power.

I'll probably go with a bigger turbo in the future, probably a Dodgezilla since City is only about 1 1/2 hours from my place. Would my stock turbo lose its efficiency with this setup?

Any thoughts?

Like the others have said, you will need a better clutch. With an EZ & mach 1. 5's I could slip my stock clutch at 1500 rpm & 2/3 throttle. The SBC con ofe fixed that problem.

The clutch?? Buh-bye, for sure.

Are you going to be "hauling heavy"? If so, then you don't want to run huge injectors and advanced timing. Peak cylinder pressure rises too fast relative to BMEP.

If you want to run the M3s for heavy towing, go with either a cheap boost fooler or a TST box with less timing.

The DZ turbo with the 61mm wheel should be enough to cool this combo under most cases if you go with a larger housing-- I think even a 14cm would be too small. Try a 16.

You guys who tow benefit the most from an adjustable box like the Comp or TST. Knowing what I know now, and the fact that my EZ has been disappointing in terms of reliability (MIL lights, throwing codes, etc), I would go with the TST box w/ 9 level remote.

Your stock hx35/12 is "Efficient" to about 30psi, and "safe" to about 35psi. After that, you risk explosion. HIgher altitude will lower these numbers a couple points.

What I've seen in the past

My brothers 02 ETH\DEE wouldn't hold an EZ & 275's. I would think you have no chance with 3's & an EZ FWIW. I believe he went with the SB Con O fom Peter. I believe it's suppose to hold up to 350+ RWHP.

Yup the CON O is good for 350HP and 750TQ. My thoughts are if you're going with a box and injectors go for the CON OFE as it is good for 450HP and 1000TQ. I'm already at 689TQ and I've only got a banks box!! If I had put a CON O in i wouldn't be able to consider injectors just because of my clutch! Spend the few extra bucks and get a bigger clutch when you do the upgrade. The CON OFE isn't too agressive for normal driving but it is more agressive than stock.

Yep, what he said. . :( However the MU 0090 Con O is rated to 400hp/900ftlbs. This is the clutch for those with the 5 speeds. The Con O for the ETH is the MU1947 and is rated for 350hp/750ftlbs... Phil

Don't believe everything you hear. I have been running a B1/comp(3x5)/mach4s for a few weeks even pulling a 2 place sled trailer, all still using a stock clutch. Don't flap that something is wrong either, the thing will break them loose in 4th gear. Think 4. 10s make it hard to really load the clutch hard but still... I have been running stock clutch for 8 months with everything from just a Comp to what I have now. This includes hard passes at the strip and numerous 5x5 pulls with some Mach2s. I have a FE in the garage and I am guessing that 5x5 pulls with Mach4s when I put my summer tires (35") back on willl be the straw so to speak. I wonder if my truck came with a FE from the factory lol? I would say go for it and see what happens... you might be surprised.
