Edge Ez-module

Just bought a '05 2500, QuadCab,4x4, G56..... Any opinions on the Edge EZ module? Any better? Not getting wild here, just trying to gain a little in mpg and and excuse the cut the Cat and Muffler off. Do I even need a module w/ boost fooling to cut Cat and muffler off?

150,000 miles with my EZ, can't say about the boost fooling. If you make it spool too fast it will defuel, but I'm not sure if intake and exhaust mods will cause that ... ... ... ... some say "yes", some say "no".

Do you know how the Edge EZ module works on the '05's? Preasure? or What?

The edge -ez only does pressure and has a built in boost fooler. Also note that the wastegates for the turbos on the 04. 5 and up are electronic.

OK, I'm fairly savvy on the mechanical stuff. Competent on Old school injector pumps, damn slow catching on to the electro-gizmos! So, the Edge EZ is a pressure box w/ boost fooling? What other ways do boxes/modules affect power? Do any alter timing? pulse width? Are there boxes that do multiple functions?

To answer some questions and to catch you up some :-laf ... The edge ez is pressure w/boostfooler. It always has been the funtion of this box for the isbe series engines(cp3). The edge juice does timing, pulse width, and for the 03 and 04 trucks it also does pressure. I know on the 04. 5 the juice does not do pressure since it has been increased from the factory. If you serch the TDR you can find plenty of threads on boxes and their specific function.

You don't need a box to remove the muffler and cat, but the EZ is a good product to get some extra HP and MPG though.

I have a egde juice w/ att hot program on my 05' cummins w/ g56 trans removed cat muffler afe stage II intake pn#75-10812 runs great The ez boxes work very well easy to install and remove better mileage and hp. good luck
