Edge EZ or Juice...what's the difference?

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I am curious to know what the differences are between the 2 boxes or are they the same to certain extent? I see guys running the Edge EZ and some running the Juice and some with them both. Does one make power differently than the other? Any basic info on these Edge boxes is much appreciated. :D

The EZ will bring up your rail pressure to make the power, the Juice does duration of the injectors and timing. I think thats about it. I think the EZ will net about 65 HP and the Juice is 150 and I believe the hot juice will do 180. Someone else please chime in if thats in correct... Hope that helps. . ROB
 
As stated above the ez add rail pressure and lots off it. THe juice adds timing and duration which most will claim is safer. Also you can get the attitude controller with the juice which give you more adjustibility. WIth out the attitude the juice is something like 35, 60, 80(I think), with the attitude it is 20,40,60,80,100, plus it give you all the safety features and gauges in one package. Plus with the 06 it gives you the ability to clear codes and has a turbo timer built in. Look around you can find the juice with attitude in the mid to upper 600 range... ... Alot of bang for the buck.
 
Man, only $600. 00? My local dealer wants like $900. 00 for a Juice w/ attitude. I guess I need to shop around. I wan looking to upgrade from my SC Flashpaq to the J w/ A unit.

I bought the Juice w/attitude on ebay for $674. I called them and asked a few questions, then asked for their price. Their online price was like $150 less then the over the phone quote. So definately shop around.
 
I recently picked up an EZ off of eBay ($200 used). I've had the J w/A for about 90K and I thought I'd like to try an EZ. So far I've been towing with the Juice on 0 and the EZ on 1 or 2. I like the EZ better for "normal" driving. The Juice is a lot of fun on the upper levels but certainly not for towing. I've only gone as high as both on 2... . YEEEEEEEEHAAAAAWWWwww. Time for a new turbo and clutch if I do that too much.



I'd go with the EZ for normal everyday driving. I just like the way is drives. Nothing really negative to say about the Juice, I just like the EZ more. No smoke from the EZ until level 3 either. For me that's OK. Both on 2 will darken the brightest of days.



I haven't decided if I'm going to keep the Juice now or not. I'd love to, but that means I gotta spend some $$$ on a turbo/clutch. This whole controlling my right foot can only last so long.
