well, i went over to superchips in longwood (thats where the r and d goes on to talk to a guy i know) clinton is the head technion, and he is using my truck for the next few days as a test vehicle for the new superchips power programmer, its supposed to be sweet with preset configs etc, and i told him i have the edge ez, and he said that is just one of their products marketed under a different name. . its weird how that works. . i cant wait to see how it turns out, because i can run them both simulaniously since the superchip mod goes through the diagnostic port... .

Just to be clear on the comment above, they (SuperChips) are selling it under a different name. Edge Products Inc is the "original" creator of the Edge EZ. Alot of companies sell it under various names.

DO you have proof on this? superchips designs boards for alot of different people and it would seem this is possible

Yes I do.

1)How long has Superchips had something available??? I had a prototype EZ when Edge first made it. I don't remember the exact date, but it was a couple of years ago.

2)I called Edge and they confirmed that SuperChips is a "rebadged" EZ, just to confirm my thoughts.

well i have this question, do you know who is making the boards? i am in the electronics industry (the manufacturing part) and it apprears to me that this board was not assembled in the us (i took the box apart) due to some components that generally are not used in the us. it seems to me that everyone is using very similar technology. i cant wait to check out this superchips programmer for the truck it should be cool
