pe ez or comp and gauges.

Here's the deal, I'm aware of the importance of guages. I would like to up the power a little with an ez or a comp (without the pump wire). If i go with either the comp or ez, and take it easy (no or very little towing) should I be ok until I get the gauges? I'll be getting the gauges in Feb.



Also, am I correct in that if I leave the pump wire off with the comp box, I'll still get the timing, fueling and boost just like the EZ?

Guys, the EZ doesn't vary the amount of fueling, just when it kicks in.

Yes you can run the Comp like an EZ with the pump wire disconnected until you get gauges, because that's what your getting without the pump wire connected.



You will see a power increase on your 5spd.

I even get 6spd guys telling me they couldn't believe the increase it gives.



Several threads say the same. The EZ is a great bang for the buck product. You can't go wrong putting one on your truck.
