Head Studs

I installed a little known product today on my truck that I think is going to catch on big. It's called an Edge EZ. I can't believe the difference in driveability. :) If it improves mileage, which is the main reason I bought it, that will be just a bonus. The truck just seems to want to pull and wants to run. Just smoother all the way around.

Yeah, I know, the EZ's been around for years and I'm way behind the power curve here but I'm just tickled that I finally took the plunge now that I'm out of warranty.

Probably wouldn't have known about it if it weren't for TDR.

Thanks!!

Yes, The EZ was my first mod. Still today, it is a great mod for any application.

So many members, have forgotten, how hard it used to be. to gain 50hp?

Pressure, alone, 50 hp?

You are on the right track, keep listening!

Just be careful about looking at the overhead for your mileage. The EZ will make it read high--big time. You might get a little, but actual mileage will need to be hand calculated.

Believe me, all of us that started with an EZ know this.

Doesn't the edge juice improve milage too? Especially on #2 setting? I heard some say this on this site... and you still get other 4 levels and a monitor if you want to buy the attitude. I'm leaning toward the Juice with attitude and plan to use levels 1 & 2 for a little more towwing power. why buy the ez? Anybody getting better mileage with the Juice assumiong you're not going crazy with your right foot?

I installed a EZ and 275's on my 01 when the truck was new. For pulling a trailer (large tandem dually) hauling heavy tractors it works very good. If I wanted to go drag racing (I dont) or sled pulling with it (I dont) I would go with a more agressive box (I wont).

The level 2 - "tow mode" seems to get me 1-2 mpg more all dependent on my foot, but like others have said, Smarty is the ticket, I use my attitude practically for gauges and tinker with the timing on the smart instead of using the edge, expensive set of gauges if you ask me but you live and learn =)
