Recently bought a used edge ez off ebay for 07 5. 9 and it throw this code P0238 MAP Sensor Voltage Too High almost instantly when driving and goes into limp mode seems like. Anyone had this issue before. Thanks

Could be a bad harness on the EZ, try disconnecting and check all the pins, try the truck without, to make sure it's the EZ. If re-connecting results in the same condition then a component of the EZ is faulty. Hope you didn't spend too much for it.

Does it do it on all the settings or just one of them? The reason I ask, I have an EZ that acts up sometimes on setting 3, but the other settings are ok. By acting up I mean my rail pressure would sometimes get very erratic, and sometimes drop to zero. The truck never faltered, but watching the rp gauge would make you nervous. The EZ circuitry boards are not of the highest quality, and do break down.

Well didn't think to try on another setting been driving truck for long time no codes ever till i put that ez on it. Had real good luck with em in the past. Prob just got screwed on ebay but oh well all you can do is take people for their word. I'll try another setting and thanks for the reply

I have not had good luck with the EZ, have had two fail. I stll have one in my garage and wouldn't think of selling it. I would send it back to the seller.

I bought an Edge EZ new and used it for a year with no issues, then one day on the 1st setting it started throwing a code, do not remeber the code. It did not rhow the code on setting 2 or 3.

So I sent it back the company; they sent me back a new one. While waiting on the Edge to come back I bought a Smarty JR. So never did try the Edge again, still sitting in the box they sent it back to me in
