My check engine light came on today on my '03 HO. I have an Edge EZ installed. Has anyone had problems with the Edge throwing codes or is this unrelated? I'm not using the boost elbow.

I'm pulling off the Edge and seeing the dealer on Monday to see why the light came on.

My check engine light came on 20Jan and was reset by dealer. They don't know why it came on. Computer logged 255 good starts. Dealer could not duplicate problem.

My check engine light came on again 23Feb and was reset by dealer on 24Feb. They don't know why it came on.

I do not have any mods.

My '02 3500 HO 6sp threw codes also. Light came on. Came out to be Man. Avg. Pressure was higgly piggly. Pulled EZ and went to *******, they replaced the Acc Pedal Position sensor. No big deal. Had to return to get them to erase codes as this is something they don't normally do (?). I had the elbow installed and pulled it also before going in. This was about 1 year ago... ... ..... no problems since. There is a web page to read these codes but can't recall it now.

Hope this helps as Edge said their box wouldn't do this. H'mmmmm. Anyway, my APPS was bad as it had been acting up before I threw the codes but I thought it was due to my poor shifting.

Check engine light

My check engine light came on and the dealer said it was a "bad ECM," which I assume means electronic control module. I think there may be a TSB on it. It was fixed under warranty.

There was nothing for me to pull off (yet):)

As another member suggested, I cleaned the air cleaner, and disconected the battery cables for about 15 min. Put everything back together and ran all day without having the check engine light. Maybe it's just an oddity.

I haven't had any codes since my EZ. I did have a check engine two months after I purchased truck; with no mods. I think you would see a pattern if it were the EZ. A lot of people here own the EZ and you just don't see any corelation to codes. Now the newer boxes are another story. There have been posts regarding codes and other boxes.

The only codes I've heard the Ez throwing is when you don't have it hooked up right or when one of the connections is loose. 8k on the ez with no codes and no problems :D
