Hey Hauler lay off of Keith will ya! Go get it somewhere cheaper, and when or if you have problems with your service or product come on here and ***** about the poor customer service. There are Places... advertisers on here who get $800 for a comp and pump cover. DD is a top notch company with excellent products, and excellent customer service. So ya pay a few dollars more... . I suppose R&D is free. Ya get what ya pay for, and sometimes your paying for for the service and knowledge as much as your paying for the product its self

There are some guys with lower pricing still. Edge actually has full time people seeking out these guys, and either getting the prices set properly, or cutting them or their distributors off.

I never said I felt like I was getting beat up, but you'll find that is the reason that many vendors have left. From a price standpoint, sure, you're beating me up to a point, but I know what the distributor side of the equation is. Remember that you also pay for the knowledge/tech support. Sure, Edge can support their box, but not when you combine that with turbo(s), injectors, etc. That goes beyond the scope of their expertise. Hopefully, your selling vendor can give you the rest of the tech support you need.

Thanks for the tip, I really don't care honestly. As I said, the individual picks the vendor they think is selling the best product. The fact that I am unbiased on whether you buy from me or not should be a bonus.

Actually, we charge the lowest ALLOWABLE amount. Edge sets a lower limit (10% off MSRP) as the lowest price a dealer should sell it for retail. All these other guys that are selling it for less are jeopardizing their dealership and that of their distributor. Edge IS checking into it, to try to keep the playing field even for all the dealers.

MSRP is $699 for a comp box, with $629. 10 as the lowest allowable sale price. We sell it for $630. How is that out of line? Buy it while you can.

How is that out of line? I think 184 dollars is a big difference for the same comp box, and edge should take care of it if i have a problem since i will be buying from one of their vendors.

Better get it while you can. That unscrupulous dealer won't be selling it for that forever.

This thread seems to have gotten out of hand. What started out to be a request for information turned way more personal that it should have.

I am closing the thread.
