Hi all, just wondering if anyone has tried these two together, and if one is better than the other. i had edge module hooked up, then got a great deal on a used superchips max tuner 3705, 80 hp, and 180 tq, on hi perf. setting. The edge ez didn't seem to come on until drive and overdrive, it pulled hard. The superchips max tuner seems to be smoother throughout the rpm range, and shifts smoothly at wot, from a dead stop. But doesnt seem to have the high rpm grunt of the edge although the superchip tuner is rated at more hp and tq. Just asking opinions, and whether the two can be used together.

Thanks for all the help

Well i got the 3705 on my 98. 5 set on HI-PERF. You right, from the gitgo thru out the band it just wakes the cummins up. Then i put a Van Aaken box, BAMM no smoke just smooooth runnin. picked up 2 mpg and she's been runnin well 2 yrs now. btw i pull a 20,000 lb d5 cat dozer on a 28 foot gooseneck on 315/70's .

When I first started playing, I bought a superchip, and loved it. I think the best mileage I ever got was with everything bone stock, minus an afe intake, muffler, and the superchip. I got an average of 22. 5 on a 1600 mile trip. I did stack it with an edge comp box, without the wire tapped, and it seemed to run well. Since then, the tuner says its a different truck and wont load anything, and superchips wont reprogram without a receipt... bummer...
