What would the results be hooking up the Edge EZ with the data link cable unplugged and the EZ's MAP cable plugged in only?

I would call edge to verify but I think it will just act as a boost fooler, no added timing or fuel.

That's correct. Running in this configuration returns timing and fueling control to the ECM, but the MAP connections enable the EZ to function as a boost fooler.

After adding larger injectors, I slipped the stock clutch the same day running empty. As we had an RVing trip scheduled before I could change the clutch out, I disconnected the EZ's data cable and ran with the bigger injectors installed and the EZ's MAP cables hooked up. The powerband felt like stock (no EZ low-end and midrange "torque hit"), EGT's were great, no codes were set and the stock clutch never slipped.
