Attention: TDR Forum Junkies Edge EZ question
I noticed last night that I was setting my EZ incorrectly. The manual from Edge shows the pc board on the bottom which requires me to flip the box over to match the direction when setting the jumpers.
. It sure explains why I had problems with performance and drivability when I did the tone ring mod. I had the EZ set on a non-existant setting. I changed it last weekend to what I thought was level 1 (actually 4) and reset the timing advanced 2 degrees. The truck ran really good. Go figure. Anyway, I figured out my mistake last night. My question, the '04 305 HP engine runs less fuel pressure stock than the '04. 5 and up engines. My EZ does not have the secret settings. Can I run this box on level 4 without risk of injector damage? I really got spoiled this week on that level. Running on 2 right now and it just doesn't cut it for me.
