I have both 2000 and 2002 Cummins Dodges (2000 for sale). On the 2000 I have always had a Van Aiken box, with no problems in 40,000 miles. It will run circles around the 2002 with no box. Obviously want to add a box on 2002. Problem is that Van Aiken, and BD boxes involve pump connector with void sticker. TST box involves piercing wires. That only leaves the Edge EZ which goes into the MAP sensor and the Data plug, neither of which has a sticker. Does anyone have any experience with the EZ. either good or bad? How about using the turnbuckle on the wastegate? I have no gauges (yeh, I know I should, but it's more work than an old **** like me wants to undertake). How does the EZ work without the turnbuckle?

I have an EZ on my 01', 10 minutes to install, no stickers to touch, HUGE increase over stock. I have an Auto and have expierienced no problems. WELL worth it in my opinion.

First off, I would not install the box until you got 10 min to do the elbow. It makes a lot of difference. Mine smoked a lot without it installed.

Second, from your sig, your transmission is stock. Most say that an EZ will not kill it; however, I believe it will, especially if your are towing at max weight and push the gears; eg lug under power. If you will downshift early and keep the rpms up you might get away. I drove about 700 miles with stock transmission. I tend to drive more over 2000 than under, expecially with G V. I never tow in factory OD.

Oh, forgot, I did nothing to the turbo, still dumps at 20psi and i have no complaints on power. If i have to go to the dealer, i can make my truck stock in 5 minutes.

I never tow, and the EZ is about the same as the Van Aiken (power-wise), and my 2000 never has had auto transmission problems. The boost elbow doesn't work on a 2002 auto trans. You have to use a turnbuckle on the wastegate control, and that sounds a little uncontrolled to me. I'd much rather accept a little smoke or less power and leave the turbo alone, if it will work that way.

Roger,go ahead, and get the EZ,you'll love it. IMo its better than the van aken box. The power wil be about the same,we ran my dad's 01 with the ez,and no turnbuckle,it was fine. If your going to bomb the 02 any more,id sway the turbo's before you sell the 2000. They should swap easily, and the 2000's turbo is capable of moving more air,and will push more boost than the hy35 on the 02. if your just putting on an EZ id say dont bother,. but if dd2's or bigger fueling box is in your future,do this now before the 2000 is sold.

The EZ isn't a bad investment, You will notice a seat of the pants difference. I recommend putting the boost elbow in too. You do need to remember to tight all of your intercooler fittings when installing that though
