Hey guys I just bought a 2006 3500 dually with the mega cab and I love it. My question is I want to put an edge with attitude on it so I can monitor everything. Where does it read trans temp from. Also can my stock auto handle it? I do alot of towing and I think it would help. Thanks alot

I **think** it monitors the stock sensor. I say this because I have that combo in my '05 and wasn't required to do anything to the transmission (like install a sending unit). The truck has a transmission temp warning light from the factory so there must be some type of stock sensor available.

I really do like it, really woke the engine up and it seems to get better mileage on the #3 setting than on anything else, including the stock setting. Well worth the $$ in my opinion. The truck is otherwise stock enginewise. The '05s came stock with 4" exhaust so it breathes pretty good already.

I think that Edge would recommend towing only in level 1 or 2 with a stock trans. I get my best mileage on level 3 on my '03.

i just 24,000 before i messed up my trans running on level 3-4 towing and they warrenty it but depends on how you drive.

The Edge gets the trans temp info out of the Dodge PCM. You'll like the Juice/Attitude. Check out the overhead or A pillar mount for the Attitude, make sit look like a sotck Dodge item this way. The stock transmission can deal with it if you use good sense in most all cases. You wail on it it'll last a shorter time etc etc same ole thing. Of course there are a few trannies out there that don't last on a stock truck either.

Did you say you have an 05 and can display your transmission temp? I thought that was only available for the 06's?
