How big of a differance is between just the nozzles and the whole injector setup, i got the supermental injectors right now that i want to rebuild and make them 150hp but I dont know how much I will gain and if it will help my mileage any because the supermentals dont do so well with mileage but lots of cool smoke.

Edge Jammers are EDM tips where as the supermentals are extrude honed. The edm's will run clleaner. If you take them to an injector shop have you old ones cleaned, rebuilt with the edm tips, and pop tested they should be better than your old ones. If mileage is what your after you might look into the mach (mach 4=150 hp) series injectors from formula 1. He seems to be at the top of the injector game for us 24v guys. The main thing btw tips and injectors is just that, with the edge jammers they take new tips and go from there plus you re-use you old stuff, with the machs they are a blank tip (no holes) and made from a special alloy which give complete control of spray angles, etc. and everything is spankin new You can also just drop them in when you get them and don't have to wait since everything is brand new.

I would like to just buy nozzles if I can. But what I dont know is will I get a 150hp out of them if I rebuild my supermentals with 150hp nozzles or do I need to buy the injector to do what I want to do and get a little better mileage at the same time?

The nozzles are the business end of the injector. The rest of the body is just to serve as spacing. You can get where you want to be just swapping nozzles.

Just be sure to have the newly assembled injectors pop tested.

If RV275 are 7 holes and Jammers are 8 holes, how can they reuse the tips???? SNOKING

Well, I guess I stand corrected on that. To my knowledge F1 was the only company that made their injectors from a blank tip... ... ... . the edge tips were enlarged stock ones, I guess not. My mistake. Yes you could get the power you want from the Jammers but I cant speak on the mileage... .....

Excessive smoke! Running stage 3 DDP Injectors, truck runs great but SMOKES! Opened up the intake, exhaust, and put in a bigger turbo. The edge Juice gives it plenty of fuel, don't need any more torque. My questions: Will honing the nozzles reduce smoke? Need to keep cost down and improve MPG. Nozzle recommendations? Will adding anything else like water, propane inj reduce smoke?

03 Q-cab, 6-Spd, SLT L, Volant air intake, 5" exhaust, Edge Juice & display, T Turbo, Gear Vendors OD, BD exhaust brake, Fass,
