Does anyone run an Edge Insight CTS2 on their Ecodiesel. 84130 I believe is the part number for our application. I have Smarty touches on my other trucks and like how I can keep an eye on numerous parameters.

One thing I've noticed for years and it became quite evident as I joined an Ecodiesel forum is that if you want good information and straightforward answers the TDR is the best place. I asked questions and was lectured by other members. I was told my CTD experience meant nothing. I've been running a diesel truck for 20 years now, have a lot of diesel tractors, and two highway tractors plus I tune diesel Ag machinery. It was funny being "educated" by someone who has an ED for a year or two. I have lots to learn about this platform but I wasn't impressed. Thanks for the help and advice. Chuck

I ran a CTS2 on my E.D. as it proved quite valuable in keeping on eye on Soot Mass and when the truck would go into regeneration. I now have my Cummins and use it on my new truck too. I also had a Scan Gauge which was much less expensive, gave many of the same read outs but didn’t have as fancy a display - but it was only $159 versus $450. Either works fine...IMHO the key is ensuring you have something to keep an eye on the parameters and try to catch a problem before it becomes a catastrophe.
