Looking for some advice to which gauges I should set on my display with my Insight CTS. Right now I'm running Fuel Rail Pressure, Boost, EGT, MAP, and Barometric Pressure.

Anything I don't need to monitor or anything I should be that I'm not? Also what warning limits should I be setting up for them?

On a side note, I learned you cant run the "Street" setting when towing. EGT was fine, boost was good, clutch not so good. Running stock setting now since camper towing season is here. Not sure if the "Tow" setting will be any easier on the clutch than the "Street" setting. So to be on the safe side, its stayin stock for now. Didn't really need the extra power, just the deletes.

I'm running the insight, I'm monitoring Tran Fluid Temp, EGT's, and Boost for the analog displays, haven't setup the two digitals yet would like to monitor fuel pressure to the CP3 and maybe intake air temp. Also if you're able to set different power levels you don't have the insight, it only monitors, you have the Evolution or Juice with Attitude. Unless they have EFlive for the 2012 Cummins out, then you can adjust the power of the EFlive as I understand it anyway.

How do you know if its not the "DMF" that is slipping, they are designed to protect themselves, but ever time they slip they get weaker. Below is a link, be sure to look at the section under "friction ring".

I have the Edge Insight CTS, and monitor Trans Temp, Boost, Engine Temp, DPF Status, and the Gear Indicator status. Sometimes I use other ones just to see whats going on.

I use them all and switch them around. . The mpg's do not seem to jive with the EVIC. And none match the pencil & paper.

Thanks for the info guys.

RV, that explained alot as to what a DMF was, kinda sounds chintzy to me. Just adding more pieces to fail. When did the dodge go away from the good old clutch and single piece flywheel? My last ctd was an auto. Also thought it was odd that Standard didnt list a conversion kit for the dodge. Not sure which is slipping, but something is. Was very surprised when it happened. I guess the only way to know is to start saving for a South Bend kit and wait.

Mid year in 2005 is when they changed from the NV5600 with the solid flywheel to the G56 and the dual mass flywheel. If you look up some of my old threads and posts it will explain why I think it's the DMF, that either clutch or the DMF has failed. It's a long story, but if your interested you can PM me a phone number and I'll call you.

I sold my 07 and bought a 12. I loved the insight in my 07. Anyone have pictures of a dash mounted Insight in a 12?
