Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) trans question

This is a 2 part question.

1. Is the Edge Juice that I am now running a fuel only box or does it control timing also? I believe it controls timing but I can't find anywhere on the net that confirms that.

2. I am thinking of stacking my Juice with a Smarty. Has anyone done this? If so, what kind of gains can I expect? Has it effected the reliability of the engine? Is it worth the money to purchase the Smarty to stack it with the Juice?

The timing and fueling are ran together along with the corresponding sublevels. If you don't have the pump taped, you only have timing and a little fueling. The smarty on even #'s will stack with the juice. Bottom end will be better but top end might suffer due to the amount it will fuel down low. I think the best power setting is 5x4 for the most power but dont hold me to it. hope that helps

And yes the smarty is worth every penny. I have almost the same truck except short box. With my stuff in sig you can see what I dynoed. Plus I can boil the tires 1-3 and chirp them in 1-4, make cars dissapear, turn on daytime runninglights, etc, etc, it WILL MOVE and I still want more! :-laf

Call bob wagner, he has some demo smartys that you could try out for free. Better yet maybe you shouldn't because you WILL be buying one after you try it. I am not affilliated with any company or dealer, just passing along good people to do business with!

i think it will stack very well. i'm seriously considering a smarty also, but i need to think about a clutch as well. same goes for you. from what everyone has told me, a stock clutch will not hold the smarty/edge stack.

I have the smarty stacked with the edge juice w/attitude. i think it runs awesome and it was worth the money. My only problem is i can't run the smarty with the edge on stage 6, cuts out and has no power. The smarty is probably the best addition i have done on my truck.
