I was not implying that it was rushed to market. Quite the contrary. But I am sorry I do not buy that the "decision was make to put the 555's on hold because the development of the 600 would help cure the 555 issues".



Of course they are in business to sell products, that is the one an only reason they would work on a product that was still being sold as apposed to a two year--no longer being produced-- product. I do not harbor an ill feelings for their business savy. But there have been a whole lot of promises made, repeatedly made.



Patience is a virtue, good for you, you are a better man than me.

Been shipping the you know what out of the Edge Juice Attitutdes this week and haven't seen any response as to what the truck owners think of it. Want to see what you folks think of the operatin and power levels performance etc etc. Give us soem feedback!



Hope all the orders have arrived as expected, we will have the color and grain matched Attitude mounts for the A pillars late next week for those that are interested.

Group buy fun

Okay everybody, the reason I posted this thread was to supply members with a vendor that provided a group buy price for us.



I don’t expect dealers to have to battle out for the lowest price. My goal was to provide a opportunity for a better price by “US” buying in quantity.



Now the post has turned into a frenzy of “I can get you the best price on the box”. When I initially called some vendors, the group buy price I ended up with was the best price by far. Now that people know that price, people want to beat it. This is NOT what it is about. As far as I am concerned, anybody can beat a price if they are given the price they need to beat. The vendor I did the group buy from offered the best price right away.



Take it for what it is worth…. .



While doing this I did not consider the following:



1. The fact that some vendors are TDR supporters and some are not.

2. Some shops have a higher overhead due to better support, facilities, and personnel.

3. If you have a problem with the part, some shops can replace it for free and immediately, where other must wait.



After e-mails from upset vendors and individuals, I have turned on the official “I DON’T CARE MODE”.



If you want to know who the original group buy deal was from, PM me. If you are going to ***** at me or complain about something, don’t bother me.

OK, let me start out with an apology, I think that this whole mess started with my post that included a price I was quoted from a vender.

After I posted, I thought that perhaps I'd done the proverbial "head up where it's really dark thing". :-{}

I didn't use good judgement and for that I hope that this forum will forgive me.

No problem on your post. I was just a bit hot the day I wrote the above message. Just seemed like everybody was quick to the "I can get a better price" wagon. It was just the preverbial "straw" that boke the camels back.



I was more than happy to put some time into getting the people in the group a better price on the edge unit. But what people seemed to forget is that I was Just offering an option. I by no way said that this was the only place to buy them, nor did I say that it was impossible to beat the price.



The price the group buy vendor supplied was VERY good considering the price I received from 6 vendors I called. There will always be a person that knows a person who can get a deal. The group buy was aimed more at the individuals (like myself) in the group that just like to get a contact name for a reputable vendor and get a good price.



There is not enough said about simplicity. I responded to about 60 PM's and e-mails. My hope is that those people were able to make a single phone call and get a the parts they desired. The group buy vendor also offered VERY good prices on other upgrade parts that he carried.



All in all I learned a lesson about the "proper" way to do a group buy, and how to go about offering it.



My hopes are that all of you that did order from the group buy are happy with the price you paid and the service you received.



In closing, I will still resopond to the the PM's I have now and any further that come my way. I fully support the vendor that offered the group buy and will continue to supply his information to anybody that desires it.

Aaron also informed me that there will be a "FREE" upgrade to the Hot Juice for anyone that wants it. It will not be available for a few months. He didn't say what the max HP would be, but he did say that I would definately be happy with it!

Edge released a limited number of Juice units with Attitude for the 2004. 5+ trucks. We have gotten one shipment which was quickly sold out, but do expect to see a few more of them this week.

Thanks we appreciate that. I UNDERSTAND the impatience, been there myslef lots of times. The product is way HOT and orders are being filled on a first in first out basis from Edge and then from us. I kind of feel like they sent out a few hundred and are just making sure nothing jumps out at them even after the looooong BETA test periods. Been there myself so I know how they feel.



We will honor the pricing and make sure everybody that wants one is taken care of correctly.
