Went over Douglas Pass today with about 18,000lbs GVW. I had recently put the Juice/Attitude and BD brake on. The pass is very steep and windy. Not because of lack of power, I had to go to 2nd gear for a while to navigate the curves. Going up, I set it on 2X2 and was able to go as fast as I wanted. Coming down, the BD held me back so well in 3d gear that I did not touch the brakes. After the pass, I was climbing a short hill letting her eat and heard a loud air noise like a blowout. The Attitude display immediately alarmed high EGT (1350*). I pulled over and checked everything out. All looked OK. However, the EGT continued to be a problem. Any attempt to drive over 55 was met with alarm. The boost gage on the Attitude was reading low also. Too make a long story short, a boost tube clamp had broken and caused the problem. If I hadn't had the gages that came with the Attitude, I would have continued cobbing it until I melted down. It really pointed out the need for gages before serious mods.

Glad to hear you caught it before a serious problem occured. I love my Juice with Attitude. Best money I spent in awhile!

Hey guys. Not to hijack the thread or anything but, do y'all like the Juice better than the Comp? I've also heard great things about the TST/Smarty combo. Just seeing what y'all thought.

Is anyone running a Smarty with the Juice? I have heard the bottom end is better with the juice, but I don't know anyone thats running one so I don't know a whole lot about it. I have a buddy thats running a TST and a Smarty, and he swears by it. Just wondering. Thanks
