Edge Juice/attitude Problems!!!

I've returned my Edge Juice module and Attitude A/2 back to Edge for repair 4 times now, and it still won't work properly. It worked for a few months after I bought it, but once it crapped out it's never been good again. I've spoken to a few other guys and have learned that this is a common thing with Edge, most people are just throwing them away. Well, I spent about $1,600 and am totally disgusted!!! Has anyone else out there gone round and round with this junk from Edge?? Anyone got a product that they are totally satisfied with on the 04. 5 "600" engine?? I can't take it any more, I think that was the biggest waste of money in a modification I made. I'll be calling them back again tomorrow, don't know if I will get anywhere, but I don't have high hopes. Has anyone considered a lawsuit? The customer service guys are very nice, and they turn the product around really fast, but they need to reserve some of that money that they spend on fancy advertising and use it to develop a higher quality product!!

What do the TDR people recommend???

I understand your pain! I put on a J w/A that worked for about 200 miles (attitude and module malfunctioned), sent it back and like you got another fairly quickly (older version of course) that was bad out of the box!!! I'll let you know what my resolution is. My dealer promised a call today, but it didn't happen. See what happens tomorrow. If they won't make this right (and not another reflashed old unit) a "class action" may get their attention! Seems the new owner is heading down the wrong track!
 
Edge Juice/Attitude Problems

I hve spoken to one of the Aarons at Edge (there are 3 of them). The latest was today. He told me he went to the engineer and spoke with him about my issue, and that they have learned that there is a problem with the programming on the 04. 5-06 only, as on some vehicles the Juice won't communicate with the A/2 Supposedly they are shooting for a June 15th deadline to have the problem taken care of, and he told me to call back then and ask if the "incompatability issue" has been resolved. Apparently they will be able to "update" my Juice module one more time once they figure out what the software problem is. This will be the 3rd time I have sent it back to them since the middle of April. 4th time if you count last summer when I sent back the A/2 for repair. Over $50. 00 in shipping cost so far, and now I have to do it again. How many companies do you suppose would stay in business if they operated this way?? I don't see that I have any choice but to keep trying, but my patience is worn awefully thin!!!

I have said this on other posts, just stick with them and let them get it resolved. You would be utterly shocked to find out what acceptable failure rates are for a lot of products, some approach 50%! My personal experience with Edge has been flawless, and everyone I know who has ever had a problem had it resolved to their satisfaction, and they appear to be doing everything they can to resolve your problem. You have to remember that they are assembling a product from parts another company makes, on top of that it is a product that is supposed to mesh with and make changes to another seperate product, you can't expect absolute perfection, it doesn't exist. Likewise, when something happens they can't waive a wand and fix it right away, they have to find it, figure out how to fix it, then implement the repair or patch. Problems are going to arise, how the company handles the problems should be how you judge them.
