i had an edge juice with attitude hot box so it was 150 hp i sold it and bought a tst cr w/r49 and i love it the rail pressure adjustment and the turbo timer but it just doesn't feel like it pulls as hard as my edge did?? Now my clutch might be slipping alil bit but not very bad, and also my edge i never seen egt over 1300, tst it will get as hott as i will let it. anybody else feel this way. :confused:
 
You need to play with the settings more. That thing should blow the Edge clean outta the water. No comparison.



What program are you running? Settings?
 
I don't know about the tst but the edge would backdown when the egt got too high (where you preset the backdown temp).

Yes the TST if you turn up the low end number will cook the exhaust temps but it blows away the Edge IMO

i played with all the settings even the tt 03 i have went to about 4 on rail pressure then it starts surging too much but i tq and power both of them i have ran on 9/9 and my edge would blow more black smoke and pulled harder so obivously i have a problem then have any of yall ran an hot box and then went to a tst if so what was yalls results

I have an 03 and I also had a edge HOT juice,then I sold it and purchased a TST and rite after I put the tst in and went out and ran it I about crapped my shorts the power was totaly no comparison,it ran fine for a while and then it started running like crap,I was getting very little smoke,popping noise,my egts would not run ver 900 at the manifold,I ran it a while like that until I called Mark at tst and he sent me another one,and it runs better now,some reason it still dont quite feel like as strong as when I first put it in,maybe i am just used to the power :D ,but I have it stacked with the mp8 and those to run good together,try turning youre boost to off position and run your power setting a little higher and the torque down a little,if that dont do it call Mark or Danny at tst,they will help you.



03 auto,dtt transmission,tst,mp8,airdog,mac filter,sittin on 20's
 
this weekend i am installing my sbc fe but even with my edge on level 5 i could slip my clutch really bad thats why i ordered it got my tst installed and it will not even slip my clutch. now i know that i need a pusher pump and a walbro is in the near future but that would not rob that much power would it?? Just dont seem right to me i will call tst tomorrow and let yall know what happens, My edge ran strong and hard w/o any technical difficulties i sure i hope i get this worked out because i just spent 1200 dollars on a clutch and it doesnt even slip w/ this tst #@$%!
