Edge Juice on an 06, CEL?

I've got a new 06 and am wondering what to expect when I install a new juice with attitude as far as trouble codes. I've heard a lot of rumblings from 24 valve owners about issues and troube codes. I'd prefer to hear from people that own and have direct experience with the product and not just unfounded opinions. Most folks that I know that own and use Edge products are pretty happy with them. Thanks.

I still have one of the early beta Juices on my '06 since early April or May or so. I don't think my CEL works - I've never seen it. :-laf



Seriously, I've never had it come on, nor have I ever had any DTCs. And I don't have the Juice set up to automatically clear the DTCs, either, since I don't have the turbo timer connected.



I have a production Juice ready to install, but I don't expect any changes.



Expect your fuel mileage to go down. Not directly as a result of the Juice, but you tend to (or I tend to) mash the throttle everywhere. This truck is so fun! Oo.

Edge juice

My friend installed an Edge Juice on his '05 and promptly set off the CEL and a number of codes. He's got a Ca vehicle. A call to Edge got another unit marked"Ca vehicle" or similiar sent to his house. This one looked like a Beta unit as it had obviously been out to prior customers. It has worked out pretty well w/no CEL or codes. His only complaint is timing rattle at the highest setting. He has the mechanical gauges and the max setting is 90 hp. I believe.

Thanks fellas, I think I'll put it on and give it a try. I'm just a little nervous with this new truck and being computer controlled. I'm used to my old 12 valve that I had total control over. Sold it, bought momma a Commander and she gave me her 06. I just need to get over it and BOMB it.

Iv had my Edge HOT with Attitude on my 06 for over 30,000 miles now and have never set off a code, I don't have the automatic clearing feature turned on either. The edge box is a lot of fun but watch the EGT's, that engine will get hot fast.

Ive put in about a half dozen and only had one that had some MAP sensor code issues but has since just gone away. Im sure just a bad connection.



The good thing about the 06's is that you can read and erase the codes with the monitor.

06 with edge

Ive got an 06 2500 megacab 4x4 6spd and im runnig the Edge Juice with Attitude monitor, ive had it on for about 6k miles but ive never had any issues and it defenitly makes the truck more fun to drive. I havent noticed an increase or decrease in mileage but i am happy with my purchase
