I have an opportunity to buy an Edge Juice/Attitude from my friend's dad for around $300 I have an 04. 5 QC with nv5600 with only 52000 miles on it and warranty untill 100k. What do you think is that a good price?

Thanks in advance, Andre

Yep! And send it to edge for the $75-ish version 17 upgrade as well. Otherwise, don't bother.

It works well if it's your only mod (well, other then stacking with an EZ)

I have one on my 3500, 4. 5, 4x4,with a afe intake and now Im going through my 2nd stock trans ( my trans was rebuilt under warrenty) The juice attitude combo works great on this truck. I have 82,000 miles now.

Thanks for your replies, Guys

So from what I gather this is a fairly safe and mild mod for towing?

Also, since my truck runs so well stock, is it even worth it voiding my warranty?

I think it is safe if you are smart about how you use it. The higher levels are going to be hard on equipment, namely the auto trans. You also need to watch EGTs to make sure you aren't running to hot, the extra fuel will do that. So I think used wisely, it is a very good choice. You might be spending more than 300 though if you need to get a new exhaust probe, and boost bolt, plus the other stuff to hook it up.

On the whether or not to do it... I owned four of these trucks before I modded this last one. I have stayed mild as well and I am super happy with it. It is a total monster on even my 60hp setting, waaaaay more fun than stock. I think reliability is still very good if you use some common sense.

If I were you I do it in a heart beat!! For a couple of reasons, one being if you have to take it in to the dealer for something just basically un-plug and go. (no trace) Second, its cheap, and also if you wanted to send it in to Edge you could have the turbo timer installed on it. Oh yeah I almost forgot, it can make some good power!
